I found out about this story from Julee, whose blog is "Discovering Nathan." This story is just unbelievable! I cannot imagine the difficulties with school that will remain with this young boy because of this incident.

i saw this on another friend's blog & bawled when i read it - my heart ached to think about how that boy must have felt!
Maybe we need a new educational program . . . No Child Voted off the Island . . .
Thanks for commenting and visiting my blog. I hope you don't mind but I added you to my links and will pay you a visit as often as I can.
I read this story you posted about. I had not heard it. It is heart breaking that an adult woman, a teacher no less, would encourage that type of behavior from her students. How terrible to let each child say what they didn't like about this little boy and then take a vote to remove him from class!! It's appalling. I feel for the little boy! His poor little heart must be broken.
The bad treatment of autistic children has been in the news a lot lately. It makes me womder just how bad it was before all of this came to light.
Love your pictures you've posted!
Thanks for the photo compliments. The one behind my blog title was taken last fall and is a view over the hill behind my house. If you look closely you might be able to see a small cemetery off in the distance. Anyways, I like how the title and description fit in a place where they are easily readable.
